Seckford Agencies is one of the top importers of New World wines in the UK with an enviable portfolio of high quality family owned producers from all New World countries and an established business selling to the UK Independent sector.

Our strategy of supplying wines exclusively from the New World has enabled us to develop a high level of expertise in this sector. This, coupled with the ambition to introduce our producers’ wines to a broader consumer base has led us to actively developing new channels of distribution. The UK multiple grocers and specialists are an important focus for us going forward and we have been working with our producers to develop a range of exciting new projects to meet the specific needs of this sector.

All the wines we are showing at the tasting are brand new concepts for 2008:

Argentina:      The new Finca Sophia range from O Fournier – Hailed by Decanter magazine as a “New World Icon of tomorrow”. 
California: The launch of the new Renaldi Cellars range from Scotto Family Wines. Expressive fruit forward wines with minimal oak influence.
South Africa: The new Roxton brand from the Rustenberg estate and a preview of the new Cape Verandah brand due to be launched at Cape Wine 2008.
Australia: Two new brand launches for the autumn from Trentham estate: The Cliffs range of single varietals and a range of Italian varietals which includes Vermentino and Sangiovese rosé!

All of these new ranges have been created with a view to delivering superb quality, excellent value for money and to provide a genuine USP for the retailer.
